Varkala to Alleppey - Transfer & Sightseeing

After breakfast checkout from Hotel and drive to Alleppey, on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Alleppey. An important backwater destination attracting thousands of tourists every year, who come all the way to enjoy Alleppey for what it offers. Referred to as the Venice of the East, the place is home to diverse animal and bird life. Alleppey is also famous for its beaches, marine products, coir industry and boat races. A singularity of this land is the region called Kuttanad land of lush paddy fields referred to as the rice bowl of Kerala and one of the few places in the world where farming is done below sea level. Alleppey to Thekkady - Transfer & Sightseeing

After breakfast checkout from hotel / Houseboat (As per your stay ) and drive to Thekkady. Situated within the confines of the Western Ghats in the southern Indian state of Kerala, Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the most captivating wildlife parks in the world. The picturesque lake in the heart of the sanctuary was originally 26 sq km but now spans an area of 55 sq km. This perennial source of water, which initially led to the submersion of large tracts of forestland, slowly attracted wild animals. It eventually resulted in the adjoining forests being granted protection. Post-1975 Periyar finds itself in the enviable position of being a protected tiger reserve. The terrain ranges from hilly to flat grassland areas at the edges of the lakes. The vegetation is of moist deciduous type. Arrive at Thekkady and check in to the hotel. You are at leisure for the balance of the day to enjoy various activities at Thekkady. Activities available are – boating on periyar lake, spice plantation visit, Elephant safari, nature walk, Kalaripayattu – the traditional martial art performance,Kathakali & Tribal art performance. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Thekkady to Munnar - Transfer & Sightseeing

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Munnar on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Munnar. Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Sightseeing in Munnar - Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake ,Echo point, Rajamalai where you can visit the rarest species known as Nilgiri Tars. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 6
Munnar - Full Day Sightseeing

Morning after breakfast full day visit to Munnar. longest zipline (will be opened in OCT as per online data), tea plantation, macofa chocolate factory, dance and martial art show in punarjani, echo point, lockhart tea factory

Munnar to Cochin - Departure

After breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Cochin Airport / railway station (depending on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling content about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.

Cancellation Advance:

  • If the reservation is cancelled before 21 days of the date of arrival, there will be no retention. Within 15 - 21 days of the date of arrival, 50% of the 01st night stay will be charged as retention.

Cancellation penality:

  • Any cancellation less than 07 days entire stay would be charged as full retention.
